Anna Connors is a freelance photographer and videographer based in New York, NY specializing in long-form projects centered around disability, health care and climate. She aims to make federal and state policies visible through intimate, human-centered visual narratives.

Anna is a 2024 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she was a recipient of the fully-funded Morehead-Cain Scholarship and double majored in Global Studies and Journalism. She previously served as a visuals intern with the San Francisco Chronicle and The Raleigh News & Observer, a freelance photographer with The Chatham News + Record and a photo editor with The Daily Tar Heel. Her work has also appeared in The Baltimore Banner, ProPublica, The New York Times and The Baltimore Sun, and has been recognized by the White News News Photographers Association, College Photographer of the Year, the National Press Photographers Association and the Hearst Journalism Awards.
